The dome is located in the middle of the woods on a raised platform overlooking the trees. It is powered by solar panels and features off-grid living. The queen- sized bed is situated so that guests wake up to a view of the forest through the panoramic window. There is a loft above the bathroom with another queen-sized bed. The bathroom has a composting (waterless) toilet, sink and shower. The kitchenette is fully stocked with dishes, cutlery, bowls, pots, and pan. There is a 2 person table to dine at and a propane stove for those chilly months. Outside on the patio area is a barbeque and a fire pit for cooking food, an eating/lounging area, and a wood-fired hot tub.

I watched this wonderful dome being built from the ground up! Staying here as one of the first guests was lovely!

Glamping InStead was the perfect escape from the city. Our dome was well equipped with everything we need and more. We really felt all the hardwork and love that was put into making this beautiful eco-friendly property.
The dome is very spacious. The loft is an added bonus for more comfortable sleeping space without compromising the dome’s other features and also for star gazing views. We also saw the amazing aurora borealis which made our stay extra special. The washroom inside the dome is also another great accessible feature that we haven’t seen at other geodesic domes that we stayed at before. The fireplace and grill were easy to use and all the instructions were very helpful and easy to understand. Lastly, our favourite amenity is the wood fired hot tub, it was very relaxing and calming amidst the trees and nature surrounding the dome. All in all our whole stay was so warm and stress free, Shauna and Chris were so welcoming and
accomodating. We could not ask for more!

This was the first time that my bf and I went glamping and we really enjoyed it! Shauna and Chris were amazing hosts and were very accommodating.
The dome itself is pretty big, lots of space to sit and lounge around and was very clean. The windows are nice and big to view the lush trees outside. The dome is well equipped with bathroom and kitchen supplies. The binder was also really helpful and helped us get the heater going at night as well as other helpful instructions.
The trees also provided great shade when it got hot outside and we weren’t exposed too much from the winds, etc.
The hot tub was a great added feature that we used to relax after a relaxing day.
We’re definitely recommending this to our friends and family, it was such a wonderful experience and we look forward to visiting again!
